2.19. Lubrication system
Characteristics of the device
The lubrication system combined: to sprinkle and below pressure. Below the pressure radical loads and conrod, the axles support is polished. The system is composed of a case of oil, the bomb of oil of gear with an oil receiver, by a filter of oil of complete line, the sensor of the pressure of valves of oil and of oil.
The oil bomb takes the oil of the trundle bed of oil of the motor and gives it to an oil filter. Of forcing of the oil bomb there is perepuskny a valve. In the too high oil pressure to valve it opens and a part of flows of oil is lowered by me behind in the motor trundle bed.
For the way of the element of filtration of a filter of oil the pure oil comes to the oil of main trunk. In the moment of a contamination of the secondary passage of filter the valve located in case of a filter of oil gives not the oil filtered straightly to the oil of main trunk. In a tube of branch of a filter of oil there is a valve backpressure what touches emptying of channels of oil and empurradores hydraulic of valves of the motor. The channels of the lubricant of loads of an end of inclination leave from the oil of main trunk. Through openings tilted in the doubled one to an end an oil moves for loads conrod, and from there it is sprinkled in fingers of piston and cylinders. At the same time in the channels they ascend the oil moves for a head of the cylinder block and supplies the lubricant of loads of the axle and work of empurradores hydraulic.
Oil consumption
Talking about an oil consumption in the internal combustion motor, only we infer that his quantity that goes on in the combustion (an expense in residues). It is not necessary to confuse a consumption of oil to the oil loss because of the leak of the trundle bed of oil, a covering of a head of the cylinder block in absolute and so on. The normal oil consumption appears due to the combustion of a little quantity in cylinders, and also because of the retreat of remaining of the combustion and the particles of the products of the use. The oil grows old below the influence of high temperature and pressure in motor cylinders. Practise in an oil consumption a great influence and extern factors, like a way of driving, and also the exactness of the production of details of the motor.
The most admissible oil consumption in the moment of the Repair can do 1 l in 1.000 km of a race.
Getting an etiquette "of the MINUTE" it is necessary to add the oil (the volume of the added oil must not exceed 1 l).
The choice of oil of the system of lubrication of motor
The oil for any time is applied to the lubricant of motors of the cars of Hyundai. It can be in use both in the winter, and in the summer time. An oils base for any time is liquid seasonal oils (for example, a class of the viscosity 15W). At the expense of so called condensers the oil is stabilized in a hot state, therefore, of each state-owned necessary lubricant the properties are supplied. The letter "W" in the classification of SAE indicates that this oil can be in use in winter.
The oils of Legkokhodny represent oils for any time with additive antifrictional, in his hard-working economy of the fuel to 2 % it is possible. The oils of Legkokhodny have the low viscosity (for example, 10W-30). They demand a special base (synthetic oils).
The recommended class of quality of oil in API – not below of SG or SH.
The recommended class of viscosity of oil in SAE – depending on the air temperature waited before the next substitution of oil.
Check of level of oil
Install the car in the flat horizontal platform.
Leave and heat the motor.
TO OBSERVE
After the long idle time of the car they heat motor approximately inside 20 minutes.

Give birth to the motor, wait for 2-3 minutes and check the level of oil.
The oil level will be between etiquettes of the probe of masloizmeritelny. In the moment of the reduction in the level below of an etiquette of "L" they add the oil to an etiquette of "F".
It is secured what the pure oil, without impunity of cooling the liquid or to gasoline and the necessary viscosity has.
PREVENTION
In the equipped motors cars with the catalytic converter it is necessary to look at that level of oil in the probe of masloizmeritelny it was not higher than the maximum. If in the car with the catalytic converter too much oil is filled out, it is necessary to withdraw his excess of a case through the unloading or a suction (the bomb of special vacuum), otherwise it did not set the oil alight it will enter in the system of the production of the carried out gases and it can destroy the catalytic converter.

Oil substitution in the motor
Leave and heat the motor up to the temperature of normal work.
It gives birth to the motor.

Withdraw a cork of a mouth that fills the oil, put out a cork of a masloslivny that opens (in the oil trundle bed), like shown in the fig. 2.127, and oil of fusion of the motor.
The coat a cork and it holds tight his moment 35-45 N · m.
Fill out in the fresh motor oil for a volume mouth.
Establish a cork of a mouth that fills the oil.
Launch the motor and leave us that it works.
Give birth to the motor, check the level of oil and if necessary it restores it to the standard.
Capacity of the system of lubrication of the motor, l:
the work volume is 1,1 l:
2,8 (without substitution of a filter of oil);
3,1 (with substitution of a filter of oil)
the volume 1,3 of work; 1,5 and 1,6 l:
3,0 (without substitution of a filter of oil);
3,3 (with substitution of a filter of oil)
Substitution of a filter of oil
The whole driving Hyundai equips of the quality removable filters of oil that are recommended using for the substitution in all the cars. The filters that are available for sale are different in the quality. To secure the efficient maintenance it is necessary only to use quality filters. Before the installation of the new filter they withdraw to remain of the placing of rubber of the old filter of the surface privalochny of the cylinder block.

Launch the motor and one convinces of the lack of the hole of oil.
Give birth to the motor, check the level of oil and if necessary it brings it to the standard.

Removal
Take away a belt of the walk of the mechanism that distributes the gas.
Put out pins of the fixation of a case of oil.
Withdraw a case of oil.
Withdraw a receiver of oil of the bomb of oil.
Withdraw an advanced covering of the cylinder block (the case of the bomb of oil) joined.
Discover the bomb of oil.

Take away the driving and driven wheels of gear of an advanced covering of the cylinder block (fig. 2.132). The etiquettes adjust devote themselves in the leader and driven wheels of gear (to see the fig. 2.132).
Put out a cork of the valve that it reduces, take away one spring and a diver of the valve.
Check of technical condition
Check a case of oil to existence of damages or slits and if necessary it substitutes it.
Check a receiver of oil to existence of breaks, damages or slits and if necessary it substitutes it.
Check the surfaces of contact of the case and wheels of gear of the bomb of oil for lack of the use (specially I pass).
Check teeths of gear wheels for lack of use or damages.

Meeting and installation
Establish the driving and wheels of gear driven in an advanced covering of the cylinder block (the case of the bomb of oil), looking at his correct agreement of etiquettes, like shown in the fig. 2.136.
Establish a covering of the bomb of oil and
one hold tight the fixation it fires on the moment
8-12 N · m. After a pins inhalation they check the smoothness of the rotation of wheels of gear of the bomb.
Establish a diver and a spring of the valve that it reduces, apply the oil of motor in a diver. Hold tight a cork of valve the specified moment.
Moment of an inhalation of a cork of the valve that it reduces of the oil bomb, N · м:
motors with a volume of work of 1,3 l..... 40-50
motors with a volume of work of 1,1 l..... 20-30
Check edges of work of an epiploon of an end of inclination for lack of use, I warp one or harm.
Check if the spring epiploon is weakened.
Establish a mandrel (or a part of a tube of the convenient diameter) for a proof of press of an advanced epiploon of an end of inclination in a stocking of an end of inclination. A new applies the oil of motor in an extern surface of a mandrel and tug for the effort of a hand epiploon in an end stocking before the contact with an advanced covering of the cylinder block (fig. 2.137). Always establish only a new epiploon.
Install the flattered pulley of an end of inclination, a belt of the walk of the mechanism that distributes the gas and a pulley of an end of inclination.
Establish a receiver of oil.
Surfaces privalochny clear of a case of oil and the cylinder block.
TO OBSERVE
The thickness of the roll of the selante will do approximately 4 mm. The case of oil has to be established later of in 15 minutes after putting selante.

Establish a case of oil and hold tight pins of his fixation of the moment of 6-8 N · m.

Check the existence of an electric chain between a conclusion and the case of the sensor holding tight a sensitive element of the sensor (fig. 2.141). If holding tight a sensitive element to chain not if desconectar, substitute the sensor.
Create in the depression of sensor of 50 kPa through an opening of a few oil producing resources. If at the same time the electric chain between a conclusion and the case of the sensor if it is going away, then the sensor is useful.
One convinces of the tension of the sensor. The existence of the hole indicates the interval of a diaphragm of the sensor. Substitute the sensor with the damaged diaphragm.

Check of technical condition
Check an advanced covering of the cylinder block for lack of slits or damages and if necessary it substitutes it.
Check an advanced epiploon of an end of inclination for lack of use or damage of edges of work.
Check a case of oil for lack of breaks, damages or slits and if necessary it substitutes it.
Check a receiver of oil for lack of breaks, damages or slits and if necessary it substitutes it.
Check the surfaces of the contact of the case of the bomb of oil with wheels of gear of bomb of the absence of damage or use.
Check teeths of gear wheels for lack of use or damages.

Establish an advanced covering of the cylinder block with the new placing and hold tight pins of fixing (fig. 2.147) the moment of 20-27 N · m.

Which necessities to be known substituting the oil
First of all, it is recommended not only to let to the old oil to flow I lower completely, but also to become an end of inclination of the motor in 5-7 tendencies to withdraw the remained oil of roads of oil. Also it is useful to wash itself out the motor (with this finality they apply the special oil to the washing) inside 20-25 minutes, at the same time the motor will work in the way that wastes time.
Modifying the oil, it is always necessary also to substitute the filter. Old man, though washed out, it will be "like a fly in the ointment".
The oil must be modified at home where there is no powder and the wind.
Checking the level of oil in a case of motor the rag with which they rub the probe of masloizmeritelny will be pure. Even, apparently, the insignificant particles of the powder that came to motor considerably reduce the term of his service.
When it substitutes oil also it modifies the placing of a cork of a drain that opens in the trundle bed of oil of the motor, and also the case of a filter of oil (if it is established). The placing is included in the packet of a filter of oil.
After the oil substitution there is useful a race of the car registers, the date of the substitution, mark of oil that in the subsequent one his substitution or a dolivka there were fewer problems.
There is not necessary there is afraid the fact that the oil will darken after 1.000 km of a race. Only demonstrate what "works" correctly – maintain in himself a deposit and he washes surfaces of details.
