The system of brakes of parking is shown in the fig. 6.45.
The system of brakes of parking with the mechanical walk affects mechanisms of brake of rear wheels. The walk of the brake of parking is composed of the lever, adjusting the sketch, the igualador, directing threads, levers of the walk of shoes of brake and a level razzhimny with the built mechanism of the automatic agreement of a slit between a drum and blocks.
Removal
Withdraw the central consolation of the panel.

Weaken a nut of agreement and desconecte a thread of the walk of the brake of parking (fig. 6.46).
Withdraw the switch of a lamp of control of the brake of parking.
Withdraw the lever of the walk of the brake of parking, having unscrewed screws of his fixation.
Withdraw a rear wheel.
Withdraw the drum of brake.
Withdraw a nave of a rear wheel.
Withdraw shoes of brake.
Desconecte a thread of the lever of the walk of blocks.

Withdraw a ring of the fixation of a thread of the walk of the brake of parking to a council of the mechanism of brake (fig. 6.47).
Withdraw a thread of the walk of the brake of parking, having weakened a clip of fixation.
Check of technical condition
Check the Repair of the switch of a lamp of control of the brake of parking.
Check the sector of gear of the lever of the walk of the brake of parking of the existence of use.
Check threads of the walk of the brake of parking of the existence of use or damages.
Substitute a thread in the next cases:
– the hints do away they are weakened;
– the end threads began to split;
– the thread much moves for a covering even after his lubricant.
Installation
The installation is executed as it must be, the return to the removal.
Before the installation of the drum of brake they check the exterior diameter of shoes of brake (in the established blocks).
The exterior diameter of shoes of brake of cars without antiblockading the system of brakes (the diameter of a drum of 7 inches) will be 179,5-179,0; the equipped cars of antiblockade of system of brakes (diameter of a drum of 8 inches) – 202,2-201,7 mm.
Adjust a thread of the walk of the brake of parking for what carries out the next thing:
– hold tight approximately twenty times a pedal of brake with the effort of 10 kgfs;
– not less than three times against the stop lift the lever of the brake of parking.
  To pull of the lever of the brake of parking with the effort 20 kgfs done in the point located in the distance of 25 mm of the end of the lever, a nut of agreement adjusts a thread of walk for which the lever of the walk of the brake of parking moved for 6-8 teeth of the sector.
